Hi guys, my name is Saska 🙂 I’m a 30 year old wife and first time Mama living in the Great White North of Canada (although my birth place and now where I live, I’ve been fortunate enough to have many places called ‘home’). Growing up in Jamaica was a beautiful experience, shaping the way I would see the world and those in it. Appreciating the small things, keeping an open mind, respecting nature and most importantly, slowing down. From there, I went to England where I lived for 10 years, achieving a BSc (Hons) in Herbal Medicine, making some of my greatest friends, and meeting the man of my dreams.

At 25, my dream man and I decided to leave England and head to Canada to build a life together and have some adventures. In the summer of 2012, I married this man, James, my soulmate, the love of my life, my best friend.

In January 2016 he gave me the most precious gift of all…our baby girl, Freya. And it is with her arrival that my heart burst wide open. This blog is because of her, for her and for everyone else who is playing a part in raising little humans. We live a plant-based and cruelty-free lifestyle and my aim with this blog is to inspire those reading how to become more connected to this amazing planet we live on and to all beings dwelling here. As everyone knows, life is not about the destination, but the journey so follow along on mine for some inspiration on living consciously and gently upon this beautiful Earth we share.
