The Best Outdoor Toys for Toddlers
Summertime is finally here! Which means most of our days will be spent outside for the foreseeable future. I have rounded up our most loved and used outdoor toys. Sports Toys
Sports toys are a great option for both boys and girls. They are a great way to get lots of energy out and are even fun for parents to play with too! Here are a few of our favorites:
Water Toys
We LOVE water toys around here! While we enjoy going to the pool to swim, our little guy can't swim on his own yet so a blow up pool is a great way for him to splash and play without me having to hold him. The sprinkler is probably our most used toy of the summer. Even mom and dad have fun running through it!
Ride-On Toys
Ride on toys are a great way to get a lot of energy out quickly! We usually go for at least one walk a day with a bike or a scooter. Balance bikes are great for teaching little ones how to ride a bike from an early age. This helmet has already prevented a few trips to the hospital for us!
Pretend Play Toys
Our little guy is two and half so pretend play is HUGE right now! He has spent hours digging in the rocks with these trucks. We set the grill up outside his playhouse and he loves to grill just like his dad!
Blow Up Toys
Our blow up bounce house was one of our more expensive toy purchases but we have gotten so much use out of it! It isn't something we just leave out so it is a treat when we get it out to play. If you're on the fence about getting one, trust me, you won't regret it!
Picnic Table
I really do think this is the best kid's picnic table out there! It can be used as both a picnic table and a sensory table and comes with an umbrella. It has been one of our most used items this summer!
